Antonio Catricalà

Antonio Catricalà (born February 7, 1952 in Catanzaro ) is an Italian lawyer , university professor , civil servant and manager .

Career

After studying law in Rome, Catricalà entered the civil service. He was mainly active at the State Council , but also as office manager of various ministers and as general secretary of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers . He also taught private law at the Tor Vergata University and consumer law at the LUISS in Rome.

From 2005 to 2011 Antonio Catricalà was President of the Italian Competition Authority . In Monti Cabinet he served from November 2011 to April 2013, the Office of Secretary of State in the Bureau of Ministers. In Letta Cabinet he was non-party from April 2013 Vice Minister in the Ministry of Industry . In 2014 he returned to work as a university lecturer and lawyer and became President of the airport operator Aeroporti di Roma in April 2017 .
