Antonio Espina y Capo

Antonio Espina y Capó (born July 5, 1850 in Ocaña , † January 18, 1930 in Madrid ) was a medical doctor and Spanish pioneer in radiology .

He was the first to use X-rays in Madrid . He also suggested the term x-ray instead of electrophotography . He wrote numerous works on the cardiology and epidemiology of tuberculosis .

In 1916/17 he was senator for the province of Teruel .
