Antonio Gallardo (born April 19, 1989 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ) is a Mexican football player who mainly acts in midfield .

career

Gallardo, who emerged from the youth division of his home club CD Guadalajara , also received his first professional contract with Chivas. He made his debut in the Primera División in a home game played on February 19, 2011 against Pachuca , which was won 4-1. He also took part in the next nine games of his team and only had to pause again due to an injury.

Due to his convincing performance, Gallardo was appointed to the squad of the Mexican U-23 national team , which competed at the 2011 Copa America , but was not used there.

The season 2015/16 spent Gallardo in the second division playing traditional club Necaxa , with whom he Clausura 2016 and the subsequent overall season finale against FC Juárez won, making the Necaxistas after five years of absence to return to the first division succeeded.
