Antonio Marcegaglia
Antonio Marcegaglia (born December 12, 1963 in Mantua ) is an Italian entrepreneur . He is Chairman and CEO of the steel processing group Marcegaglia .
Life
Marcegaglia successfully completed his studies in business administration at the Luigi Bocconi University of Economics in Milan in 1987 and joined the family business a few days later full-time. In October 2013, following the death of his father Steno, the group's founder, he was appointed chairman of Marcegaglia. Marcegaglia expresses itself on issues in its sector in specialist publications.
Other engagement
He founded the Marcegaglia Foundation with his wife, Carolina Toso.
As a collector of contemporary art, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his company, he launched Steellife , the first international exhibition dedicated to the subject of “steel”.

- 2010 Voted “Stainless Steel Executive of the Year” at the 9th International Stainless & Special Steel Summit in Rome.
