Antonio Vanegas Arroyo

Antonio Vanegas Arroyo (* 1852 in Puebla ; † March 14, 1917 in Mexico City ) was a Mexican publisher and pioneer in journalism, who was of great importance for the development of the Mexican world , not least due to the intensive collaboration with Manuel Manilla and José Guadalupe Posada Art at the time of the revolution.

Life

Arroyo was born in Puebla in 1852. In 1867 he moved to Mexico City and opened a bookbinding shop on Calle Perpetua No. 8. With the artist José Guadalupe Posada and the poet Constancio S. Suárez he created several publications which received attention all over the country.
