Antonio Zamora , also known by the nickname El Lector , is a former Mexican football player at the position of a central defender .

Life

In the 1970/71 season , Zamora won the second championship title in the club's history since the introduction of the professional league in 1943 with Club America , with which he was under contract from 1970 to 1973 .

After two intermediate positions at CF Torreón and Puebla FC , Zamora also played for three years for America's arch-rival Chivas Guadalajara .

After his career as a football player , which he had to end in 1981 due to a knee injury, he was still active as a baseball player. Since the 1990s he has been running a taco snack bar in the southwest of Guadalajara (Tacos El Clásico, Avenida 18 de Marzo # 5410, colonia Las Águilas) in the immediate vicinity of the Santa Rosa de Lima church.
