The so-called Antoniuskapelle am Fratres stands on the southern slope of the Fratres above Spittal an der Drau and is a Roman Catholic branch church of the Spittal parish consecrated to St. Anthony of Padua . The chapel was donated in 1675 by the Ortenburg district judge Franz Grillenperger and his wife.

description

A sacristy has been added to the east and a porch to the west of the chapel with its polygonal end of the choir and bell stalls. Inside, the wall paintings on the barrel vault with stitch caps from around 1771 show scenes from the legend of Antonius.

The late Baroque altar, made around 1675, shows the appearance of the Madonna and Child in front of Saint Anthony on the altarpiece from the second half of the 18th century. The church also features two wooden candlesticks from the first quarter of the 18th century and console figurines of Our Lady with child and St. Joseph with child from the 18th century.
