Reviews

Like the previous album Much Against Everyone's Advice , the album received quite good reviews from critics, but it failed to achieve great commercial success.

So writes intro :

“The record sounds like the band and producer Flood recorded the songs, processed them with countless layers of sounds, melodies, samples and loops, and then started from scratch to try a completely different version. Every detail sits - perfectly constructed - in its place. "

- Björn Krüger - intro.de

The album also got a pretty good rating on the BBC ; Plattentests.de , on the other hand, rates the album with 6 out of 10 points rather average, with particular criticism for the lack of catchiness:

"It's hard to dance to" Any minute now ". It's an electronic album for headphones, one that kind of rocks anyway. [...] "Any minute now" is a line through all the invoices that have been issued, but also a bitter disappointment of any expectations. Only the title track and goes straight into your ear. Many songs like "Accidents and compliments" or "NY excuse" develop their charm after the tenth listen, and then all the more. Others, according to the current status, not at all. "
