Lighter

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An igniter is used to ignite the propellant charge of a projectile or a rocket . This triggers a deflagration of the propellant charge and drives the projectile or rocket. A detonator, on the other hand, triggers the detonation of the warhead or an explosive charge at the desired time.

Lighter can also be the meaning of an aid for lighting fuels. For example when grilling or at the fireplace .
