Apango is a place in the Mexican state of Guerrero in the municipality of Mártir de Cuilapan , of which it is the administrative seat. It is located about 35 km from the state capital Chilpancingo .

Demographics

A 2005 census by the National Institute of Statistics, Geography and Computing found that the city of Apango had 3,987 inhabitants, of which 1,870 were men and 2,111 were women. In 2010 the population was 4,345.
