Apollonios (son of Thraseas)
Apollonios ( Greek Ἀπολλώνιος ), son of Thraseas , was a governor of the Seleucids in the early 2nd century BC. Chr.
The family of Apollonios originally belonged to the followers of the Ptolemies , but under his brother Ptolemy it took place around the year 202/201 BC. A change of page to the Seleucids. Probably as his brother's successor in office, Apollonios officiated under Seleucus IV (187-175 BC) as governor ( strategos ) of Koilesyria and Phenicia , where he was involved in the confiscation of the temple treasures of Jerusalem by Heliodorus .
His successor in office was Apollonios, son of Menestheos .
