Appius Claudius Pulcher (* before 125 BC; † probably 76 BC) was a politician of the late Roman Republic .

Appius Claudius Pulcher, son of the consul of the same name from 143 BC. BC, was probably 99 BC. BC Quaestor and 89 or 88 BC BC Praetor . He was born in 88 BC. Banned from Marius as a follower of Sulla while Sulla was in the east of the empire. When Lucius Cornelius Cinna in 84 BC After he died, he returned to Rome. He was consul in 79 BC. Appius Claudius Pulcher had six children from his wife Caecilia Metella . His sons were Appius Claudius Pulcher (consul 54 BC) , Gaius Claudius Pulcher (praetor 56 BC) and the popular politician Publius Clodius Pulcher ; his three daughters named Clodia , like this one, had changed their name to the more popular form.
