Arūnas Burkšas

Arūnas Burkšas (born January 25, 1965 in Neringa ) is a Lithuanian politician, former head of the Klaipėda district and vice mayor of Neringa.

Life

After graduating from the Nida Middle School in 1983 , Burkšas studied at the Klaipėda Faculty at the Šiaulių pedagoginis institutas . In 1993 he completed a diploma course at the Klaipėdos universitetas and in 2005 the MBA master course at the Kauno technologijos universitetas in Kaunas . From 1995 to 1997 and from 2007 to 2008 he was deputy mayor of the municipality of Neringa . From 2011 to 2014 he was director of UAB “Nidos Roseė”.

Burkšas is married. With his wife Valentina Burkšienė he has the son Einaras and the daughter Roberta.

He is a member of the Lietuvos laisvės sąjunga (liberalai) party .
