Neringa municipality
The municipality Neringa (lit. Neringos savivaldybė ) is a self-governing municipality in Lithuania . It extends over a length of approx. 50 km on the Curonian Spit . As of 1961, Neringa was a city of Republican subordination.
structure
The community consists of:
- the directly administered health resort settlement Nida - 1178 inhabitants, main town and administrative seat,
and the two offices ( seniūnijos )

Juodkrantės seniūnija with 254 inhabitants includes the settlements ( gyvenvietė ):
- Juodkrantė - 720 inhabitants
- Alksnynė - single homestead with 4 residents
- Preilos-Pervalkos seniūnija includes the settlements
In what is now the municipality of Neringa, the places Karvaičiai (Karwaiten) and Nagliai (Neegeln) were buried under sand dunes .
