Arūnas Klimavičius (born October 5, 1982 in Panevėžys ) is a Lithuanian football player .

Career

In the club

Arūnas Klimavičius began his professional career in 2000 with Ekranas Panevėžys . In 2005 he won the Lithuanian championship with Ekranas Panevėžys. After seven years in Lithuania, he moved to FK Dynamo Moscow in 2007 . He made 23 appearances for Dynamo in two years. In early 2009 he signed with Ural Yekaterinburg in the 1st Russian division . He did not stay there for long either, and in December 2009 he moved to the Russian Premier League promoted FK Sibir Novosibirsk . After relegation from the Premjer league, the defender went to Shetissu Taldyqorghan in Kazakhstan . In 2012 Klimavičius was signed by league rivals FK Aqtöbe .

National team

In 2005, Klimavičius made his debut for the Lithuanian national football team . Since then, he has played 41 games and scored three goals for the national team.
