Arabsat 2B at 30.5 ° East is a television satellite of the Arab Satellite Communications Organization (ARABSAT) based in Riyadh . It belongs to the 2nd generation of the ARABSAT satellite fleet and was launched on November 13, 1996 and is no longer in service.

The almost exclusively Arabic-language programs can be received in North Africa , the Middle East or Middle East and the Balkans .
The transmission takes place in the C or Ku band .
