Arachania is a town in eastern Uruguay .

geography

It is located in the area of ​​the Cerro Largo Department in Sector 1 on the Río Tacuarí , south-southeast of the department capital Melo in the Cuchilla del Arbolito . Other nearby settlements are Arbolito in the southwest and Caserio La Pedrera in the north-northeast. Ñangapiré is located not far north of the village .

Infrastructure

At Arachnia, on the eastern edge of the village, Ruta 8 runs from south to north.

Arachania had 20 inhabitants at the 2011 census, ten of them male and ten female.
