Arachneo ( Greek Αραχναίο ( n. Sg. )) Is a village in the municipality of Nafplio in the regional district of Argolis . Until 2010 it belonged to the municipality of Midea . It is located on the northern slope of the mountain of the same name Arachneo at an altitude of 600 m above sea level . In 2011 there were 643 inhabitants. In 2001 there were 854. The village was called Cheli (Χέλι) until 1915 .
