Arafura Games 2001

The VI. Arafura Games were held from 19 to 26. May 2001 in the northern Australian city of Darwin instead. Around 3,100 athletes from 25 nations took part. The Games were dominated by Australia , which won 998 of a total of 1,467 medals.
