Araguez Island (English; Spanish Isla Araguez ) is a small island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located immediately south of Dee Island and north of Agüero Point on Greenwich Island in the Orión Passage .
Chilean scientists named it in 1998. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated the name into English in 2005.
