Work habits

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Under work habits ( english Work habits ) are understood in educational and economic discourse especially the English-speaking space those habits of a person, to facilitate an understanding and make it possible to effectively learn and to work .

In the educational discourse in the English-speaking world, good work habits are now considered to be character competencies , which - in addition to social skills and good career management - are fundamentally important for the achievement of academic and professional goals. The work habits thus form a dimension of self-management . The transitions between work habits, on the one hand, and social and communication behavior in school and at work, on the other, are occasionally fluid, for example in the case of punctuality , which, beyond the social dimension, is also a prerequisite for not missing any class or activity .

Work habits are acquired in childhood through upbringing . However, there is an abundance of popular scientific advisory literature that provides readers with tips on how to develop good work habits into adulthood.
