Arcana was a short-lived American fusion band project formed in 1995.
history
The band project was founded in 1995 by guitarist Derek Bailey , bassist Bill Laswell and drummer Tony Williams . With this line-up they recorded the album The Last Wave in July 1996 before Bailey left the band. Guest musicians Nicky Skopelitis and Buckethead Bailey took over for the second album . Arc of the Testimony was released in October 1997. The band broke up after the release of the second album, as Williams passed away in February 1997.
