The Arch Pond ( English for arching pool ) is a pool on the north coast of South Georgia . It lies between Burnet Cove and Poa Cove east of Maiviken Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1991 after the arched headland immediately west of the pool.
