The Archipiélago de los Ríos ( Spanish ; in Argentina Archipiélago Entre Ríos ) is a group of small islands and some reef rocks off the Loubet coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . They extend from the north-central part of Darbel Bay in a west-southwest direction to the Pauling Islands in Crystal Sound .
Chilean scientists named the archipelago after Luis de los Ríos Echeverría, captain of the Lientur in the 17th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963). The name giver for the name common in Argentina is the research ship Entre Ríos .
