Architects Council of Europe

The Architects Council of Europe (ACE-CAE) is an advocacy group for architects in Europe based in Brussels .

The president is Georg Pendl.

history

It was founded on May 11, 1990 in Treviso (Italy) and was the result of a merger of the former Liaison Committee of the Architects of the United Europe (CLAEU) and the former Council of European Architects (CEA). The German "branch" is organized by the Hessen Chamber of Architects and Urban Planners in Wiesbaden.

tasks and activities

The ACE regularly examines the economic situation of architectural offices across Europe in order to develop political strategies for the promotion and further development of the profession on the basis of this database. For architects he offers advanced training and information on technical and legal topics. For builders , the tasks of architects and experts are explained on their website and relevant topics are offered for builders.
