Architect (rapper)

Architect (born December 26, 1980 in Bielefeld ; real name Jan Kleine ) is a German rapper . He also appears as an "MC pimp".

The architect now lives in  Berlin and has his own record label “Architekt-Musik”.

Architekt released his debut album in 2005 together with Tackmann and DJ Johnson under the title Richtfest (Hiddentape / Royal Bunker / Groove Attack ) with a video release for the song Movement .

On May 27, 2006, Architect reached 2nd place at the German University Championships in light heavyweight B in boxing. In 2008 he released the EP Gemetzeltes (Architect Music / Finetunes) together with Rasputin . In the same year, his second album DJ Johnson presents Architekts Klatsche (667 Dist./ Rough Trade Arvato ), the video for Miss Unreserved and the video snippet Headshot - Hartes Brett ft. MB 1000 followed .

In 2009 the video release for Wie ich bin followed , with which he was introduced as a newcomer at YAVIDO . In 2010 he released the video MC Pimp 2 as MC Pimp . At the same time, Architekt published the two videos Tyrannosaurus Rap and Asocial .

In May 2011, the architect went on an architecture tour and simultaneously published the Architektour- EP (Architekt-Musik / Finetunes), for which 16bars.de produced the video release Bethelrap ft. Dray Durch . Further clips ( Steig ein and RYCT ) and the Rap Your City Tour with Laas Unltd will follow towards the end of the year .

In 2012 Essah Entertainment, the booking agency of rapper Kool Savas , took over his booking. In 2012 and 2013, the architect went on with Kool Savas Why are you rapping? -Trip. Then the Total Error EP (Architect Music / Finetunes) appeared with several video clips. In April 2015 he released his 3rd studio album Architekt - Hits 2015 .

In the festival summer 2016 he played at the Out4Fame festival . In October 2016 he got in touch with the video single Architect - Dr. Madness (architect music / finetunes) back. Since then some more singles and video releases have followed.

criticism

The review of the album Richtfest (2005) on the music portal Laut.de confirms talent, but criticizes "many unimportant, stupid punchlines ". Overall, Laut.de thinks the record is too short and thinks it is not worth the money.

Trivia

The architect is the father of a daughter, to whom he dedicated the song "Insel".
