The Arctic Circle Raceway is a race track near Storforshei , around 20 km north of Mo i Rana , in the Norwegian province of Nordland . It was built in 1995 for NOK 61 million .

It is the northernmost racetrack in Europe and, with a length of 3.753 km, the longest asphalt racing track in Norway. Another special feature of the route is that it is close to the Arctic Circle . This would make it possible in the summer months to contest a 24-hour race entirely in daylight.

From 1999 the Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) competed several times in Mo i Rana. However, this was last the case in 2004. Richard Göransson won both races on a BMW . Since 2005 the Norwegian STCC run has been held on the Vålerbanen near Flisa . Nowadays, driver training courses and club events are mostly held on the track, and not even the Norwegian racing championships visit the Arctic Circle Raceway.
