At the end of 2008, Arctic Paper acquired the paper mill in Mochenwangen, Baden-Württemberg, and decided to close the Håfreström mill . In 2010 the Grycksbo paper mill was taken over. In 2012 Arctic Paper took over the pulp manufacturer Rottneros AB.
