Worth seeing
In Munkedal, the Chateau Småröd Museum housed Europe's largest TT model railway with over 4000 railway models . The museum was closed in 2006 because the lease could not be extended. The reason for this was the relocation of the European route E6 over the museum grounds. The collection was auctioned in single lots and the museum was demolished in 2007.
The rock carvings on the Lökeberg are near the village .
