Rottneros is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Värmlands län and the historical province of Värmland . He belongs to the Sunne Ward .

The river Rottnan , on which Rottneros is located, had three waterfalls shortly before its confluence with Lake Mellan Fryken . The largest of them, the Rottnafall , had a height of about 26 meters. They have been used for the use of hydropower since 1927.

In Rottneros there is a flower and sculpture park, the Rottneros Park .
