Ardeshir Hosseinpour ( Persian اردشیر حسین‌پور Ardeschir Hosseinpur ; * 1962 ; † January 15, 2007 ) was an Iranian expert in electrodynamics .

Hosseinpour received his PhD in physics from the University of Shiraz in 2002 . In 2005 he co-founded the "Nuclear Technology Center" in Isfahan . In 2007 Ardeshir Hosseinpour died of gas poisoning, the circumstances of which have not yet been clarified. The Israeli daily Haaretz reported allegations that the nuclear physicist had been murdered on behalf of the Mossad .
