Ardvasar ( Gaelic : Àird a 'Bhàsair) is a Scottish village on the peninsula and in the Civil parish Sleat , which is in the extreme south of the Isle of Skye .
To the northeast of Ardvasar is the landing stage for the ferries that connect the Isle of Skye with Mallaig on the Scottish mainland. A little further north are the ruins of Armadale Castle , on whose grounds the Museum of the Isles is located.
