Arenite Ridge is a steep mountain ridge made of rock and snow in the north of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It rises there over a length of 24 km in a north-south orientation and forms the east face of the Toynbee Glacier . Mount Tyrrell and Mount Tilley belong to it .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1977 after the sedimentary arenite of which it is made.
