The Argo Gully is a striking valley in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Olympus Range it extends from the upper slopes of Mount Jason in the vicinity of the Goldich Crest over a length of 2.9 km to the northeastern shore of Lake Vanda . The valley is known for its marine sediments and the fossils they contain .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2014 after the ship Argo from the Argonauts saga .
