Mount Jason is a 1929 m high mountain in Victoria Land, East Antarctica . It rises immediately west of the Bull Pass in the Olympus Range .
Participants in a 1958 to 1959 campaign as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named him after Jason , a hero from Greek mythology .
