Argobooks

Argobooks ( spelling argobooks ) is an art book publisher based in Berlin, Germany. The focus is on books and periodicals on art and theory as well as the artist's book . The publishing house was founded in 2007 in Berlin by Vanessa Adler. Argobooks is also the organizer of the Berlin art book fair Friends with Books in the Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart together with the New York curator Savannah Gorton.

Argobooks has published over 180 books since inception. Books with Ulf Aminde , Olaf Nicolai , Heidi Specker , Iñigo Manglano-Ovalle , Chris Reinecke , Erik Steinbrecher have appeared, and in 2013 the catalog for the Marion Ermer Prize was published.

In September 2019 the publisher was awarded the German Publishing Prize.
