Parque Arguineguín, opened in 2006.

Arguineguín is a district of the municipality of Mogán on Gran Canaria , Spain .

General

The place with about 12,000 inhabitants is located on the highway south of Las Palmas on the south coast of the island between the places Maspalomas and Puerto Rico . Although Arguineguín also has a beach and a marina, tourism is not as pronounced here as in the neighboring towns mentioned.

A huge cement factory that was built on the coast and can be seen from afar is characteristic of Arguineguín.

Everyday life mostly takes place in the harbor, from where ships go to Puerto de Mogán and Puerto Rico . The docks are also located here and the fish caught are processed in the adjacent halls.
