Arianna Zukerman

Arianna Zukerman (born December 7, 1972 in New York City ) is an American soprano and music teacher .

The daughter of the violinist Pinchas Zukerman and the flautist Eugenia Zukerman , like her sister Natalia , embarked on a career as a singer. She studied at the Juilliard School and Brown University and after her debut with the Berkshire Opera Company she was a member of the Junge Ensemble at the Bavarian State Opera as a scholarship holder of the Sullivan Foundation .

After returning to the USA, she began her international career as an opera and concert singer. Her recording of James Whitbourn's oratorio Annelies at Naxos was nominated for a Grammy in 2013. In the 2018–19 season she sang this role with the Westminster Choir College at the National Cathedral in Washington, in the 2019–20 season with the Lincoln Trio and the Church of the Redeemer Choir in Bryn Mawr. In addition to teaching at the Wintergreen Summer Music Festival and Academy , she teaches at the Potomac Vocal Institute in Washington and gives master classes worldwide.
