Ariel Augusto Nogueira , (born February 22, 1910 in Petrópolis , RJ ; † 1990 ), was a Brazilian national soccer player .

career

Ariel played in his career mainly for the Botafogo FR from Rio de Janeiro .

The player made his first appearance with the Brazilian national team at the 1934 World Cup . However, he was only a reserve player here and only played for his first time in a friendly against Yugoslavia. Further missions with the team took place on the subsequent trip with numerous friendly matches. After that, he stopped playing. He didn't score goals in any of the missions.

After his active career u. a. worked as a doctor for Botafogo.
