Gustav Fusch
Gustav Fusch (born July 23, 1871 in Hanover ; † July 19, 1943 there ) was a German manager in the mechanical engineering industry. He was director and board member of Gebr. Körting AG in Hanover.
Life
Gustav Fusch was the son of the architect Johann Fusch. After graduating from the Realgymnasium in Hanover, he studied at the Technical University of Hanover and became a member of the Corps Saxonia Hanover . Conrad Wilhelm Hase was one of his academic teachers .
After completing his studies, Fusch worked from 1895 to 1896 as a government building manager ( trainee lawyer in the public building administration) in the Hanover administrative district . In 1896 he switched to the private sector at Gebr. Körting AG . After eighteen months of training in Körtingsdorf , he took over the management of the engineering office in Zurich .
He had been married to Irma Körting, a daughter of the entrepreneur Ernst Körting , since 1898 , so that he has belonged to the owner family ever since.
In 1899 he moved to Moscow , where he became head of the Russian branch and director of the Bratja Körting machine factory. In 1904/1905 he was appointed to the board of directors of the parent company in Hanover-Körtingsdorf, where he has since headed the jet equipment, pumps and central heating departments.
In 1910 Gustav Fusch wrote his extensively illustrated dissertation under the title About Hypokausten -Heizungen und Medieval Heating Systems and was awarded a Dr.-Ing. PhD . He was a board member of the Central Heating Industry Association.
He took part in the First World War as a captain and division leader. He was wounded twice.
On January 16, 1923, Gustav Fusch was made an honorary citizen of the Technical University of Hanover.
Fusch was buried in the Stöcken city cemetery.
