content

The twins Arisa Sonoda ( 園田 あ り さ , Sonoda Arisa ) and Tsubasa Uehara ( 上原 つ ば さ , Uehara Tsubasa ) also live separately after their parents separated. However, they keep in touch by letter and meet again for the first time after three years as a 14-year-old. Tsubasa is unpopular at her school, unlike Arisa. So both decide to swap roles for a day to get to know each other's lives.

Tsubasa enjoys life as her sister, but at the end of the day Arisa throws herself out of the window. She survived but is in a coma. In her locker, Tsubasa finds a note describing Arisa as a traitor. To find out why her sister wanted to commit suicide, she takes on Arisa's role. So she learns about a sect that goes around the school and a king who controls it. Tsubasa wants to find out who the king is and initially suspects Manabe. It turns out, however, that he also wants to find the king and destroy it and both join forces.

One Friday in the fourth hour, everyone in class 2B received a text message from the king stating that he would now only accept the wishes of five chosen ones. Arisa's friend Mariko Takagi is one of the chosen ones and notices that Arisa is acting unusual. She wants the king to give her old Arisa back. He orders Mariko to get rid of the new Arisa. When Mariko fails, she receives the “King's Punishment” and is ignored by everyone in the class. Eventually she leaves school, but Arisa and Mariko remain friends.

The other chosen ones include Manabe, who gives Tsubasa his code, Arisa's friend Midori, Rei, Shizuka and Mariko. On a school trip, Midori observes that Arisa is only with Manabe and leaves her. Shizuka, a student in a wheelchair, hates Arisa and accuses her of being the king. Shizuka owns the three cell phones because Manabe took them away from Arisa. Rei Kudo is a mysterious student who has just entered Arisa's class. After the school trip, Tsubasa tries to show Shizuka the good things in life and is betrayed by the king. Shizuka learns that Tsubasa is disguised as Arisa and that the two are twins. She believes that Tsubasa and Arisa are making fun of them and wishes that Arisa go away. Tsubasa panics and goes to the clinic. The king, however, fulfills another wish, Manabe takes all cell phones and is hit by an ambulance. He survived but had to stay in the hospital.
