Natsumi Andō

Natsumi Andō ( Japanese 安藤 な つ み , Andō Natsumi ; born January 27, 1970 in Aichi Prefecture ) is a Japanese manga artist . Her manga are aimed at young girls and can therefore be assigned to the Shōjo genre. She became internationally known through the crime manga Zodiac Private Investigator ( 十二 宮 で つ か ま え て , Jūnikyū de Tsukamaete ; 2001-2003 4 volumes).

She published her first comic in 1995 in the manga magazine Nakayoshi , for which she also drew most of her other works. In 2001 she began working on her four-part series Zodiac Private Investigator , which has been translated into German, French and English, among other things. She achieved further successes with Smile de Ikō ( ス マ イ ル で い こ う ; 1999, 2 volumes), Maria-ppoino! ( マ リ ア っ ぽ い の! ; 2000–2001, 2 volumes), Wild Damon ( ワ イ ル ド だ も ん ♥ ; 2003–2004, 3 volumes), Kitchen no Ohime-sama ( キ ッ チ ン の お 姫 さ ま ; 2004–2008, 10 volumes) and Arisa (2009-2012).

For Kitchen no Ohime-sama she won the Kodansha Manga Prize in the children's category in 2006 .
