Aristides Oeconomo
Aristides Oeconomo (* 1821 in Vienna ; † January 31, 1887 in Athens ) was an Austrian portrait painter .
Life
Aristides Oeconomo graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. He then went on a study trip to Venice , where he studied his subject further at the local Accademia . From 1861 he was a member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus . He worked in Vienna until 1881 before he went to Athens, where he died six years later.
