Arkas (exoplanet)

Arkas ( HD 81688 b ) is an exoplanet that orbits the subgiant Intercrus every 184 days . Due to its mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .

discovery

The planet was created by Bunei Sato et al. Discovered in 2008 using the radial velocity method.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 0.81 astronomical units and has a minimum mass of approx. 2.7 Jupiter masses (around 860 earth masses ).
