The Armanda River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of Western Australia . It is in the Kimberley region .

geography

The river has its source northeast of Halls Creek on the slopes of the Bob Black Hills . It flows north along the Great Northern Highway and joins the Panton River east of Alice Hill .

Origin of name

Presumably the river got its name in 1887 from the surveyor CW Nyulasy .
