Armin Kraaz (born February 3, 1965 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German soccer coach and former soccer player .
The former defender played as a teenager from 1974 to 1980 for the Frankfurt district club Viktoria Prussia and then moved to Eintracht Frankfurt . With Eintracht he became German B youth runner-up in 1981 and German A youth champion in 1983 . From the 1983/84 season he was in the professional squad of Eintracht and came in the following years to 123 Bundesliga games, in which he scored three goals. Kraaz ended his professional career at the age of just 23 to complete an apprenticeship as an advertising clerk. From 1988 to 1996 he played for Rot-Weiss Frankfurt in the Hessen League .
In 1996 he switched to the coaching staff of Eintracht Frankfurt and initially worked as a youth coach. In March 1997 he was reactivated briefly for the Eintracht amateurs and then continued his work with the Eintracht Juniors until 2001. In January 2001 he was appointed assistant trainer at Eintracht Frankfurt and was head coach there for a short time between March 8 and May 27, 2002. From January 1, 2010 to September 30, 2019, he was head of the Eintracht Frankfurt youth training center. From October 2019 he will work in the youth and sports cooperation area in North America.
Kraaz is married and has two daughters.
