Armin Roessler

Armin Rößler (* 1972 in Heilbronn ) is a German science fiction writer, journalist and editor of science fiction literature.

biography

Armin Rößler grew up in Heilbronn and studied German , English and politics at the University of Mannheim . His master's thesis (published in the secondary literary series of the EDFC) dealt with Carl Amery's novel The Downfall of the City of Passau . Today Rößler lives in Wiesloch and works as an editor for the Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung .

He began his literary work with short stories in the genres of science fiction, fantasy and horror . About the Story Olympics his stories came in anthologies of publishers Aarachne, BEJOT, Betzel, Go and write content. From the beginning of 2004 he was co-editor of the science fiction series of the Story Olympiad and later also co-editor of the SF series at Wurdack-Verlag . He made his debut as a novelist in 2004. Several of his books and stories have been nominated for literary prizes, most recently Die Fänger (for the German Science Fiction Prize ).
