Armin Rohde (Economist)

Armin Rohde (* 1952 ) is a German economist and university professor . He studied from 1974 to 1979 at the University of Hanover , where he then worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Economics. After graduating as Dr. rer. pole. (1984) he was also in Hanover, initially a university assistant, later an academic senior counselor . In 1994 he received his habilitation in economics . After substituting professorships in Paderborn and Greifswald, he was appointed to the professorship for general economics , especially money and currency, at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald in 1997 .

Rohde is a member of the economic policy advisory team of the German Savings Banks and Giro Association , a member of the advisory board of the Vorpommern Business Development Corporation and director of studies at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Administration and Business Academy.
