Armin Scholl (communication scientist)

Armin Scholl (* 1962 in Mainz ) is a German communications scientist and journalism researcher. Since January 2011 he has been a full professor at the Institute for Communication Studies at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster. He had previously worked there for a long time as an academic councilor and senior councilor.

According to his colleague Frank Marcinkowski, Scholl is an "expert both in the field of empirical journalism research and in the areas of theories, methods and methodology of communication studies and in the fields of counter-public / alternative media and ecology and media."

Scholl lives in Münster .
