Armin Ulrich

Armin Ulrich (born November 1, 1966 in Arolsen ) is a German theater and television director and film producer .

Life

After studying modern German literature, media studies and psychology in Marburg and Hagen, he first worked as a production manager and from 1996 as an assistant director. Since 1999 Armin Ulrich has worked as a director for various television productions. In 2004 he was awarded the SWR Golden Camera for his short film Déjà vu .

With his film production ARMINIUS MEDIA he has been producing equestrian films since 2007. In 2008 the first film was completed, which marked the beginning of a series about the German studs : The Sanssouci of the Horses , a documentary about the main and state stud in Neustadt (Dosse) . The film Das Haupt- und Landgestüt Marbach followed in mid-2008 , a one-hour documentary about Germany's oldest state stud . Warendorf - the City of Horses was released at the end of 2008. In addition to excerpts from the stallion parade and the Stallion Symphony, this film mainly features the German Equestrian Association (FN), the German Equestrian Olympics Committee (DOKR) as well as the Bundeschampionate and of course the city Warendorf itself is an issue. The film from the double lunge to the long rein , produced in 2009, is the prelude to a series of educational films about the careful training of horses.

Since 2010 he has also been producing an online horse magazine. My Horse Channel reports every week from the world of horses, gives tips and presents products for riders.

With the natural horsemanship instructor Kenzie Dysli , he produced a film in 2011 on the subject of circus exercises and groundwork with the title Motivate your horse - the path to freedom training and circus exercises . In the summer of 2012 he met Linda Tellington-Jones . With her he produced the film Die Weltall Story - T Touch for dressage and sport horses . Linda Tellington-Jones uses the Grand Prix horse Universe to illustrate how to work with the T-Touch . Klaus Balkenhol and Dieter Laugks also supported the shooting.

He is the brother of actress Heike Ulrich , who starred in the role of Tanja Maldini in the ARD series Marienhof from 2000 to 2011 , and the politician Doris von Sayn-Wittgenstein .
